I have been studying and playing the piano for over 20 years. I have five years of experience teaching private piano lessons, and three and a half years teaching middle school. I have a bachelor's degree in History Secondary Education and am also certified in Elementary Education.
I am familiar with the Alfred, Bastien, Faber, & Noona methods/programs for music instruction. I really love teaching and inspiring students. It is important to me that students learn in an environment that they are comfortable with and in a way that they learn the best. As I get to know my students, I adapt my lessons to their learning styles and strengths. I also believe that parental involvement and ecouragement from family members is an essential aspect of any child's success.
